The thing that makes me sad is that all the people that voted him into office turned around and in quick order abandoned him. Obama is not a dictator who can hand down decrees and mandate to the country that we have to follow. He is a elected official who is bound by our Constitution. He can only do what the Senate and the Congress ALLOWS him to do. When he wanted to let the Bush tax cuts lapse and not renew them the GOP threatened to let he government shut down. And did we as the American people stand up and make our officials actually earn their paychecks?
Nope, we sat back on our asses and blamed Obama.
I mean am I the only one getting that?
Obama is not a dictator and we do not live under a authoritative government. We aren’t China or Cuba. Our government isn’t all powerful. If you liked what Obama had to say then you should have voted for other politicians who agreed with him. So that when they got into office they could do the things that you wanted them to do.
